St Ives computer repairs and home-office Wi-Fi

St Ives is the Upper North Shore's garden suburb, and the only one of our Ku-ring-gai areas that isn't on the train line. That shapes the tech work here: with the bus-and-car commute to Gordon adding up, a huge share of St Ives professionals now work from home, and a home office that drops off video calls isn't a niggle, it's a workday problem. Proper desk setups, reliable Wi-Fi to the study and dependable backups are our bread and butter here.

The blocks themselves are part of the challenge. St Ives grew up on generous mid-century garden blocks, long single-level brick homes, two-storey rebuilds and duplexes, often with a studio, granny flat or pool area well away from the house. One router by the front door was never going to cover that. And with the suburb backing onto Garigal National Park and the Wildflower Garden, summer storms and leafy interference are regulars too. Between the village, the showground markets and some of Sydney's busiest school runs, it's a family suburb through and through, so we do plenty of patient, plain-English help for parents, kids' devices and seniors as well.
